What I love about Hull !
I really have to say that I have fallen in love with Hull; its wide tree-lined avenues, stately Victorian houses with large established gardens, friendly people, beautiful sunsets over the Humber estuary. Watch the video clip, if you haven`t already done so, and see what other things Hull has to offer.........how does this compare with your town ? Do you like it here ?

It seems that Hull, like many British cities, has been doing some extensive clean-up work and modernisation since I was last there (which I have to confess, in the case of Hull, is about 20 years ago!). When I was in England a few weeks ago, I visited Sheffield, also for the first time in many years, and was amazed at the way the town has developed. Sheffield used to be a rather ugly centre of the steel industry, but today some great modern architecture, new galleries and shopping centres sit very nicely next to the older Victorian buildings built at the height of the industrial revolution in the 1800s. I loved it!
